Spring Semester Kicked Off with Enthusiasm!

The spring semester of our Communicate program is off to an incredible start, with over 100 adult learners joining our English and citizenship classes at Jubilee Park and Community Center, as well as new offerings at our Mockingbird Station location. From beginner to advanced English classes and a unique Spanish program for professionals called Hablemos, we’re empowering individuals to build confidence, connect with others, and transform their lives through language. With registration still open, we invite you to join us in making this semester a journey of growth and opportunity!
The spring semester of our Communicate program began on January 15th, and the excitement has been palpable! Over 100 dedicated adult learners have joined our English classes at Jubilee Park and Community Center, located at 917 Bank Street. From English for Beginners to English for Intermediates, students are working hard to build their confidence and improve their communication skills. Alongside these classes, our highly anticipated citizenship preparation program has also launched, igniting hope and determination in many aspiring U.S. citizens.
We’re also thrilled to announce the opening of a second site at Mockingbird Station, located at 6060 N Central Expressway, Suite 500, Dallas, TX 75206. This site offers English Intermediate 2 and English Advanced classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 PM, expanding opportunities for learners to take their skills to the next level.
Additionally, we’ve introduced a new and exciting program, Hablemos, a Spanish as a Second Language course designed for busy professionals. Held on Thursdays at 6:00 PM, this program empowers English speakers to enhance their ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking colleagues, clients, and friends. With practical and engaging lessons, Hablemos opens doors to meaningful connections and cultural understanding.

A Community of Success and Growth
One of our English Intermediate students, Ms. Juanita Perez, shared her heartwarming story with us. As she enters her second year with SRA Ministries, Ms. Perez expressed how these classes have transformed her daily life. She now confidently communicates with her children, their teachers, and even in everyday interactions like shopping or running errands. "This program has truly been life-changing," she said, encouraging others to take the leap and join the community.
Our program is called Communicate because that is our ultimate goal—to empower individuals to find their voices, share their stories, and connect with the world around them. It’s more than just learning a language; it’s about opening doors to new possibilities and fostering a sense of belonging.
